Rajesh Hamal
Rajesh Hamal is a popular Nepali figure in the Nepali film industry. During his acting career (since 1988), he has acted in over 200 Nepali films. Since then, he has received many awards including National Film Awards. He received his first National Film Award for "Best Actor Debut" in 1989, for Yug Dekhi Yug Samma. He dominated all the senior actors in 1990s and was able to become the most popular and successful actor in Nepali film industry. As a result of his stardom, he is also known as Mahanayak (Superstar). He is the only actor in Nepali film industry to have official "Superstar" title.
